MALOO policies

MALOO Terms of Service

Effective September 5, 2026 · These terms apply to the MALOO website, Minecraft server and related services.

Article 1. Purpose

These terms define the conditions and procedures for using the MALOO website, account linking, Minecraft game server, community and paid digital currency and content services (the “service”) provided by 말랑스튜디오 (the “operator”), and the rights, obligations and responsibilities of the operator and users.

Article 2. Definitions

A “user” is a person who agrees to these terms and uses the service. A “game account” is the user's Minecraft account and its linked UUID and XUID. “Starlight Gems” are digital currency used within the service, not cash, legal tender or a deposit.

Article 3. Publication and amendments

The operator publishes these terms on the website. The operator may amend them within the limits of applicable law and announces the changes, reasons and effective date at least seven days in advance. For changes unfavorable to users, the previous and revised provisions and reasons are provided at least 30 days in advance. Access or silence alone is not treated as consent; separate consent is obtained where necessary. Rights arising from transactions before an amendment are not restricted retroactively.

Article 4. Service provision and changes

The operator provides the game server, account authentication, announcements and community, customer support and related services. All or part of the service may be changed or suspended for maintenance, security response, content updates, operational needs or unavoidable reasons. In an emergency, notice may be given afterward.

Article 5. Accounts and authentication

Users must access the service with a Minecraft account they are authorized to use. Verification codes and external account linking methods are for identity verification and must not be transferred, lent or shared. Suspected account theft or abnormal access must be reported to the operator immediately.

Article 6. User obligations and prohibited conduct

Users must comply with applicable laws, these terms, the Operations Policy and announcements. Cheats, macros, unauthorized software, exploitation of bugs or errors, server attacks or access circumvention, fraud or solicitation of real-money trades, violations of others’ accounts or personal information, abusive language, hate or sexual harassment, impersonation of operators or users, and disruption of service operations are prohibited.

Article 7. Access restrictions

Where prohibited conduct or a policy violation is confirmed or reasonably suspected, the operator may issue warnings, restrict chat, suspend access temporarily or permanently, reclaim game data or unlink accounts. Urgent security or operational needs may require action first, followed by notice of the reasons and appeal procedure.

Article 8. Game data

Game data is created and managed to operate the service. The operator may modify, reclaim or restore data as necessary in cases of error exploitation, abnormal transactions, policy violations or technical recovery needs. Users understand that recovery is not always possible and the same result is not guaranteed.

Article 9. Starlight Gems and payment

Paid transactions also follow the Paid Service Terms. Product prices, paid and bonus portions, delivery conditions and refund criteria are provided before the transaction. Currently available top-up methods are described in About Starlight Gems.

Article 10. Consumer rights

Statutory rights concerning withdrawal, cancellation of minors' contracts, repayment of overpayments and defects are not excluded by these terms or the Operations Policy. Legitimate refund requests are not refused solely because of account suspension or closure.

Article 11. Intellectual property and unofficial server notice

Rights to content created by MALOO or used with proper authorization belong to the operator or rights holder. Users may not commercially use, reproduce or distribute it without the operator’s prior permission. MALOO is an unofficial Minecraft server and is not affiliated with or sponsored by Mojang Studios or Microsoft.

Article 12. Limitations of liability and disputes

The operator is not liable for service interruptions caused by events beyond reasonable control, such as natural disasters, communication failures, third-party service failures or causes attributable to users. Damages attributable to the operator are governed by applicable law. Disputes are first discussed in good faith through customer support; if agreement is difficult, they are handled by the court with jurisdiction under applicable law.
